Volvo Car UK will partner with carow from June to enable free carwow membership for the manufacturer’s entire retail network.

The commercial and strategic partnership between the two brands will unlock access to carwow’s full range of digital services to support retailers in maximising sales of new and nearly new cars.

The partnership, which will initially run for a three-month term between June and September, is said to save its retailers up to £750 a month. It follows successful years of collaborations since 2018, where carwow provided support on media, data and insight to drive volume that assisted Volvo’s continued growth in the UK market.

The move is also set to help Volvo Car UK retailers to spend their time and marketing spend as efficiently and effectively as possible post-lockdown.

Sepi Arani, head of OEM UK at carwow, said: “This is a great example of Volvo’s continued commitment to online retailing and customer first approach - making sure that those considering a Volvo have access to a range of modern channels where they can engage with the brand and products.”

Arani says that the coronavirus outbreak reinforces that customers are willing to buy completely online.

Arani said: “This is a clear demonstration of a manufacturer leading by example, listening to and supporting its retail network to bounce back from the recent economic impact of Covid-19 with an actionable partnership that drives true value to the retailer network, and future proofs them for the modern customer.”

Kristian Elvefors, managing director at Volvo UK, said: “As part of our commitment to keeping our customers safe during this period, we have focused on making it as easy as possible to purchase a Volvo online – no matter where that journey begins.

“As well as supporting our retailer network, this partnership with carwow will provide even greater geographical coverage for our customers through a simple, market-leading platform.”
