Vauxhall has adopted Free2Move Lease as its dealer network's new business contract hire funder.

It brings Vauxhall in line with the other Peugeot, Citroen and DS brands in PSA Group, which is building Free2Move to be its mobility brand.

Free2Move Lease is an established brand across Europe. And with over 60,000 vehicles on its UK fleet, Free2Move Lease is a top ten leasing company on the industry-recognised FN50 list.

Vauxhall said Free2Move Lease will offer competitive and customer-friendly contract hire offers to Vauxhall business customers, plus fleet management tools, including a vehicle management service, Free2Move Lease Command.

Free2Move Lease Command Level 1 is designed to provide service and MoT reminders and flag up potential excess mileage. Customers will receive email notifications regarding the service and maintenance needed by their vehicles, based on mileage information from the vehicles.

Customers can make service bookings with a single call or email to the Free2Move Lease Command Care Line, who will make the service booking with their chosen dealership and monitor the work to completion.

Free2Move Lease can also assist with other unscheduled service maintenance and repair issues and warn of potential excess mileage to help avoid End of Term charges. This service is included with all new contracts of 18 months duration or longer on Vauxhall’s car and light commercial vehicle (LCV) ranges.

“We are pleased to appoint Free2Move Lease as Vauxhall’s in-house provider of business contract hire,” said James Taylor, Vauxhall’s general sales director.

“Free2Move Lease has been a key pillar in Groupe PSA’s business sales achievement and now Vauxhall has the opportunity to maximise car and LCV sales in this area, too.”
