Automotive charity Ben is calling on the entire industry to take part in Ben’s Big Breakfast 2025, happening during the week of 6–12 October - because a cuppa and a chat could change a life.
Now in its fifth year, the popular fundraising event invites colleagues, customers, friends, and families to host a breakfast, bring or bake a spread, and donate to help support Ben’s mental health services.
With 44% of industry workers struggling with anxiety and 33% facing depression, the initiative, timed to coincide with World Mental Health Day (10 October), offers a chance to connect, support each other, and raise crucial funds. Last year’s events raised £25,000.
Participants can sign up for free at www.ben.org.uk/bigbreakfast and will receive a fundraising kit full of ideas and resources.
Matt Wigginton, Ben’s director of growth and development, said: “Ben’s Big Breakfast is more than just food - it’s about connection. A five-minute chat over coffee could be just what someone needs. Whether you’re flipping pancakes or sharing pastries, every effort helps. Get your team involved and help make a life-changing difference.”
