With only two weeks until the one-day expo at Birmingham’s NEC, the industry has begun the Automotive Management Live countdown.

Some of the 86 confirmed exhibitors have shown their excitement on social media, ahead of the event.

The expo will deliver eight best practice sessions, running twice throughout the day, covering a range of issues facing the industry.

Autoweb Design will be running a session on ways to ensure websites are mobile friendly and optimised to turn mobile website visitors into sales leads, and latest developments in mobile-friendly digital marketing.

Last week, head of operations Martin Dew asked industry contacts, on professional networking platform LinkedIn, for their opinion on the sessions’ content.

EDynamix’s client services manager Claire Sainthouse-Moad urged contacts to attend Nick Horton’s session on aftersales. The talk will focus on the need to shift systems from being workshop centric to customer centric. By benchmarking automotive against other industries, the session will also highlight the technical deficiencies, which increase the risk of sufferance by comparison.

Inductus provided some light-hearted news when founder Bob Russell shared a picture of his dog Digby, as they prepared for the event on November 9.
