Motors has launched a multi-channel video campaign to boost buyer engagement with its Cazoo marketplace.
The new “Right for You” campaign features animated adverts targeting in-market car buyers, with YouTube activity already live and TikTok rollout to follow.
Produced by Fold7, the ad creative uses animated scenarios to show how Cazoo helps buyers find the right car for their needs.
Characters including Dracula, Bigfoot and an alien family star in the animated world, with 30-second adverts supported by 20, 10 and six-second versions designed for digital formats.
Motors' marketing director Lucy Tugby said the campaign reflects a strategic shift since acquiring the Cazoo brand in 2024. It also signals Motors' challenge to the dominance of the current market leader, Auto Trader.
Motors relaunched Cazoo as a marketplace in April with the ambition to shake up vehicle marketplace sector.
She said: "We promised our dealer partners that we would unlock the value of the Cazoo brand through smart, strategic investment and that is exactly what we are doing.
“We are being forensic about how we invest.
"It’s not about spending big; it’s about spending smart to deliver optimum value to our dealer partners."
Tugby said a digitally-led, insight-driven approach will help to build long-temr brand equity and drive measurable impact for its partners.
The Right for You campaign is using animation and original characters to build a "distinctive Cazoo World that makes car search exciting, intuitive and memorable by starting with the specific needs of buyers".
The campaign is also being activated in real-world environments, including expanded sponsorships with the British Motor Show and Brentford Football Club.
Cazoo will serve as the official headline sponsor of the British Motor Show this summer, where it will host the Cazoo Family Zone.
Visitors can interact with characters from the advert and take part in digital experiences that bring the animated campaign to life.
At the same time, Cazoo becomes the new official sleeve partner of Brentford FC, with branding on all playing and training kits for the Premier League side's men’s first team.
The partnership will also include pitch-side advertising and other activations throughout the 2025/26 season.
