The first batch of new Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross SUVs have landed in the UK and will soon be making their way to Mitsubishi dealerships ahead of the first customer deliveries later this month.

Customers can also order an all-new Eclipse Cross without visiting a dealer, using the new Mitsubishi Buy Online facility.

All versions of the new compact SUV are offered through the online service, which allows customers to select the colour, trim level, specification and options and part-exchange their existing car via the trade-in valuation facility.

Service plans and accessories can also be added to the order with the cost being integrated into the finance payment plans.

The range is priced from £21,275 and from launch, the Eclipse Cross is available with a PCP deal costing from £4,550 up front with 37 monthly payments of £199. An optional final purchase fee costs £11,234.

All versions include smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rear view camera, DAB, climate control, LED Daytime Running Lights and alloy wheels.

Lane Departure Warning and Forward Collision Mitigation, which uses radar technology to detect a risk of collision, are also standard and have contributed to the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross achieving a maximum five-star Euro NCAP rating.

A single 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine is available, mated to a six-speed manual  or an all-new CVT transmission.
