Groupe Renault UK has appointed Jean-Philippe Roubes as its new customer experience and dealer network development director.

Following on from January’s appointment of former Dacia UK head of brand, Louise O’Sullivan, as its network operations director, Roubes joins the business from Renault Retail Group (RRG) in France.

Prior to joining RRG Roubes spent 13 years working for Groupe Renault, where he developed a high level of experience and held a variety of positions that were focused on sales and marketing, a statement issued by the group said.

He has previously specialised in network strategy and profitability, as well as focusing on customer satisfaction.

Roubes replaces Mark Crockett who has worked at Renault in the UK and in France for the past 25 years but will take up a new opportunity outside the business.

Roubes said: “This is an exciting new position for me personally and I can’t wait to start working here in the UK.

“I’m looking forward to working with the rest of the team to ensure we repeat last year’s success in 2019 and that we continue to meet the objectives of the Drive The Future Mid-Term Plan.”

Vincent Tourette, managing director of Groupe Renault UK, said: “Jean-Philippe will be a strong addition to the Board of Renault UK and we welcome him to the team.

“He has a strong track record in customer experience and I’m looking forward to developing this area of our business with the input of his expertise.

“Mark will be missed by many and I would like to thank him personally for his contribution and support during my time here in the UK.”
