Motorvogue has officially opened the doors at its new Renault and Dacia dealership on the outskirts of Bedford – creating a second stand-alone Dacia facility in the process.

The move to the new 290 square-metre six-car showroom facility on the Interchange Retail Park, at Kempston, has allowed the AM100 retail group’s previous site in Clapham, Bedfordshire, to become a standalone Dacia site capable of providing overspill for LCV servicing.

As well as meeting the latest corporate identity requirements of the Renault Group, the new site features comprehensive workshop facilities with seven service bays and two MOT stations.

The site opened on February 28 in-time for today’s first 19-plate deliveries to customers.

Motorvogue Bedford’s new general manager, Ian Newey, who has over 37 years’ experience in the retail motor trade, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity, we’ve brought Renault into the centre of Bedford so we’ve brought the products closer to the customers.

“It’s a fantastic facility and we can’t wait to show the customers the new-look showroom with the new corporate image.

“It’s going to help us provide a great customer experience.”

Louise O’Sullivan, Renault Group UK’s network operations director, said: “The opening of a new showroom is always exciting and Motorvogue has put a lot of effort in to ensuring the very latest Renault model range is displayed in the best possible way.

“Our partnership with Motorvogue is going from strength to strength and while the attention is perhaps on the new facility at Interchange Park, the Dacia showroom in Clapham, Bedfordshire is an equally exciting development for us all.”

Motorvogue has been a Renault partner since 2016, with an additional site in Kings Lynn, Norfolk, alongside the two Bedfordshire facilities.
