City Auction Group has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of three new directors, a new chairman and chief executive.

Helena O’Neil has been appointed the new group finance director; David Scott is now the group sales director; and Lynn Girvan has been appointed as the corporate fleet director.

In addition, Raymond Hill, who was formerly chief executive, is now chairman of the Group, while Michael Tomalin takes up the reins as chief executive, following 10 years as managing director.

All the new board appointments have been made from existing senior managers at City Auction Group, each of whom have made a significant contribution to its significant growth over the last 24 months.

City Auction Group’s chief executive, Michael Tomalin, said: “We have made these new senior appointments to take the business to the next level. 

“We have experienced huge growth over the last 12 months and are on target to achieve another record year.

"The ongoing major investment across the group at Rockingham and Belfast featuring new service solutions such as technical services has attracted new corporate clients such as LeasePlan, SSangYong, TCH Leasing, Ogilvie Fleet, Leasys and ACI Finance. 

“The new management team has the right skills and experience to provide a world-class service to our expanding portfolio of customers. 

"We are constantly looking at ways to enhance the value we bring to vendors and buyers and have some exciting plans around this over the next 12-18 months.”

The next corporate fleet event at Rockingham takes place on Tuesday, March 26 at 10am featuring 300 vehicles from PSA Finance, Ogilvie Fleet, TCH Leasing, Semalease, Liquid Fleet, MultiFleet, FCA, Dawson Group, Honda Financial Services, Avis Budget Group, Northridge, RCI Financial Services, Easy Loans and United Rental Group.
