City Auction Group has appointed Emma Woodward as the new business development manager at Rockingham as the business looks to develop new vendors for its dual lane facilities in 2019.

Formerly responsible for managing dealer group relationships at Aston Barclay, Woodward (pictured) was also a manufacturer buyer development executive at BCA.

Woodward will be responsible for identifying new sales leads, selling City Auction Group’s services, building concrete relationships to develop new vendors for the new dual lane auction facilities to be introduced in January 2019 and introducing digital remarketing solutions.

She said: “With major investment in a new head office and auction facilities in early 2018, I am confident that we will be able to attract new customers to the world-class refurbishment and remarking solutions on offer at Rockingham.”

City Auction Group’s managing director, Michael Tomalin, said: “We are excited to welcome Emma to the management team.  She brings blue-chip sales experience in remarketing and refurbishment and has the right skill set and experience to develop our current client relationships and bring on new customers.

“Emma will be responsible for helping us to develop and grow the business, so we can meet our ambitious growth targets over the next three years.”
