Holden Honda Norwich has appointed Dean Aldous as its new general manager, leading the dealership’s 30-strong team.

He brings more than 20 years of motor industry experience, most recently as general manager at Cookes of Fakenham Volkswagen.

Aldous has also held a number of brand manager positions at various car manufacturers.

In his new role, he will be responsible for running the dealership and managing the team which oversees the sale of up to a thousand cars per year. He will also be in control of the Honda workshop, which features several bays for servicing, maintenance, repairs and MOTs.

Since joining the team, Aldous has already introduced a ‘recommend a friend’ scheme, a ‘home test drive service’ and a quarterly newsletter complete with freebies and special offers.

This year, the brand will introduce a new Jazz Hybrid and Crosstar, as well as the Honda e – the first all-electric car available from Honda.

“Customer service and value for money are my priorities, ensuring that we not only create an excellent sales and service experience for all our customers. This will, in turn, ensure sustainability for the business, while ensuring our customers are treated fairly, with respect and always receive an exceptional service.

“I’m really looking forward to meeting everyone from the area. Local residents are more than welcome to visit the dealership at any time, even if it’s just for a coffee and a chat. We aim to cater for everyone who walks through our door. Honda is a brand for everyone, after all,” Aldous said.
