M&M Group has announced the appointment of former Trend Tracker owner and managing director Mark Bull as its new commercial director.

The move follows Industry Insights' acquisition of the Trend Tracker business at the start of last month.

Bull will join the executive board and will work alongside M&M’s business development and operations team as the company bolsters its commercial opportunities.

Having worked in automotive for over 40 years, the vehicle accident and repair group, also trading as Fix Auto Stoke and Fix Auto North Staffordshire, said Bull is “both well-known and well-respected by his peers and industry colleagues”.

Bull’s most recent roles have been director and market and research analyst at Trend Tracker, concurrently with being the managing director of Auto Body Projects Limited.

Mick Whitehead, managing director of M&M Group, said: “The team and I are delighted that Mark will be joining us at what is an exciting time for our business.

“I am proud that we have an extremely loyal and dedicated management team at M&M and Mark’s knowledge, expertise and experience will only add to this and will help to drive the business forward. We’re very much looking forward to Mark coming on-board.”

M&M repairs vehicles from premises in Longton and Leek and includes a mechanical workshop along with a class 7 MOT facility. It also includes an information technology and signs and graphics business.

Bull said: “Having known Mick and the team at M&M for many years, I couldn’t be happier in knowing that I’ll be able to lead our key client relations, whilst the business continues its exciting and sustainable growth plans.

“The company’s pedigree is extremely strong and whilst the industry faces many challenges, particularly in light of the pandemic, knowing the M&M and Fix Auto brands are well-placed, well-respected and always look to be at the forefront of change, I’m absolutely excited by this opportunity, and what lies ahead.”
