Auto Windscreens boosts management team after competitor acquisition

Simon Limbrick, former business manager at Autoglass, has joined Auto Windscreens as national sales manager.

He will be overseeing business growth for the automotive glass repair and replacement company which recently announced its acquisition of AA AutoWindshields, the AA’s automotive glazing business.

Limbrick (pictured) said: “As Auto Windscreens continues to take great strides towards their goal to be the industry leader for glass repair and replacement, this is a great time for me to come on board.”

The AA AutoWindshields deal took place earlier this month with its Preston offices and 200 staff and technicians integrated with Auto Windscreens and, under a 10-year partnership arrangement, the AA will continue to use Auto Windscreens to deliver glass repair and replacement services for AA members; its business-to-business and insurance customers.

Auto Windscreens is owned by Trifords, part of the Markerstudy group of companies.
