Mark Harris, formerly a Honda executive and company secretary of the Vehicle Remarketing Association, has launched a consultancy business targeted at the motor industry.
Harris (pictured) recently left Honda Motor Europe after 17 years with the carmaker in management roles in procurement, used vehicle operations and dealer programmes and has now launched Harris Automotive Consultancy.
Prior to Honda, he had worked in field roles for Volvo Car UK and as a management accountant at Lex.
“In my time in the motor trade I’ve been lucky enough to work both for and with franchised dealerships, looking at solutions for improved performance and development, and then with manufacturers in areas such as marketing, product planning and used vehicle operations,” he said.
Harris was a founder member of the VRA and served on its board until 2015.
