Independent Motor Auctions expands transporter fleet as used car volumes rise

Independent Motor Auctions has expanded its fleet with an additional two DAF trucks and its fourth six-vehicle transporter.

The new truck was supplied by Imperial Trucks and the transporter unit from Belle Trailers.

Independent Motor Auctions’ managing director Justin Lane said: “Our expanding fleet of transporters will enable us to manage the sharp increase in vehicle volumes, thanks to our growing roster of customers.”

He said its Leeds auction house has had a 20%year on year increase in sales volume.

 “We now have six delivery vehicles in our fleet, ranging from one five-car transporter, four six-car transporters and a nine-car transporter, which service both our auction facilities at Leeds and Blackpool.”
