City Auction Group has announced significant growth over its “strategically located” defleet centres across the UK and Ireland since launch.

Over the last three months, the defleet centres have recorded an overall increase of 300% in vehicles moved to Rockingham, from six of the ten centres.

The largest increase of 250% overall was recorded by London and Glasgow, as a result of corporate vendors noting the significant financial rewards by moving vehicles to a more suitable central hub remarketing facility from a typically underperforming region.

City Auction Group’s managing director Michael Tomalin (pictured) said: “We believe our centrally positioned remarketing centre based at Rockingham Motor Speedway has immense growth potential to handle auction events either physical, or online, for corporate clients and major dealer groups across the UK.

“Further exciting plans will be to introduce a second online platform at our Rockingham corporate fleet and LCV events dedicated specifically for the Irish buyer network.

"We see huge growth for both sectors into this region to complement our established buyer base.”

The ten defleet centres are based in London E15, Glasgow, Hartlepool, Stoke, Doncaster, Colchester, Bristol, Omagh, Dublin and Cork, Republic of Ireland.
