Rental firm Enterprise has expanded its car sharing club.

It now offers the service across more than 170 cities, following the opening of its second site for Glasgow, at Tradeston.

The club allows members to hire vehicles for as little as one hour, with prices from £8 for a supermini.

Diane Mulholland, general manager for Enterprise in Scotland and Northern Ireland, said: “Adding Enterprise Car Club vehicles to the new Tradeston branch extends that service and enables people to access cars or vans at any time of the day or night.

“We’re working hard to ensure people in Scotland and across the UK can get where they need to go with a minimum of fuss.

“Car clubs and daily rental are an important part of the growing range of MaaS services.”

Two vans and two low-emission hybrid cars will be available at the new branch in an attempt to provide low-emission driving options.
