BCA has secured remarketing contracts with Glyn Hopkin, Group 1 Automotive, TrustFord and LeasePlan in the first few weeks of 2021.

Privately-owned South East based dealer group Glyn Hopkin has signed a three-year remarketing deal that will sell around 8,000 vehicles annually.

Glyn Hopkin uses BCA Dealer Pro across all its sites to ensure every incoming part-exchange vehicle is accurately appraised and valued. At the push of a button, the dealer team can decide to retail the vehicle or allocate it to be remarketed through BCA.

Group 1 Automotive will sell 20,000 cars annually through BCA’s channels, as part of a new two-year contract.

In 2020, the prestige car retailer’s sales programme at BCA recorded an 89% first time conversion figure.

Russell Barber, group disposals manager at Group 1 Automotive, said: “BCA and Group 1 Automotive combined for a highly successful first year in partnership, despite the obvious difficulties caused by the onset of the pandemic.

"We were impressed by the positive and decisive actions taken by the BCA team to keep remarketing channels operating efficiently and in volume after the initial lockdown and subsequent restrictions.

"We are very pleased to renew our remarketing partnership for a further two years.”

Another three-year deal was signed by TrustFord, which remarkets 25,000 vehicles annually.

The world's largest dedicated Ford dealer group has 61 sites across the UK and disposes of both cars and vans.

Alongside the dealer groups, leasing firm LeasePlan has agreed a five-year arrangement with the re-marketing company.

BCA will solely defleet, inventory manage and remarket vehicles for LeasePlan UK, following a strong previous partnership between the two firms.
