Motorpoint opens new used car supermarket site in Birtley

Motorpoint will open its £5 million used car supersite on Durham Road in Birtley this Friday.

The nine-acre site will house 500 new and nearly new low mileage vehicles from 35 different manufacturers.

The opening of Motorpoint Birtley is part of a multi-million pound expansion programme by the ‘Sunday Times Top 100 Company to Work For” and will complement its network of existing sites in Birmingham, Burnley, Chingford, Derby, Glasgow, Newport, Peterborough and Widnes.

The businesses is offering a free breakfast butty and hot or cold drink to all customers that come through the doors on the opening weekend.

Visitors will also get the chance to win £250 worth of shopping vouchers over the weekend as well as take home a special limited-edition goody bag.
