BCA has opened a new 12-acre defleet operation in Doncaster as it seeks to expand its regional capacity with the ability to process an additional 9,000 vehicles per year.

The new location specialises in pre-delivery inspection (PDI), in-life fleet management and end-of-life refurbishment for manufacturers and volume fleet operators and is located just a short distance from the A1, M1, M18 and M62 motorways.

Phil Walker, regional manager at BCA Technical Services, said: “The Doncaster operation will provide a full range of defleet and technical services to ensure these valuable assets are processed efficiently and effectively.

“Highly trained technicians will ensure that brand values are protected by completing work to exacting manufacturer standards and ensuring vehicles are in the best possible condition when they enter the remarketing sector.”

BCA recently announced a strategic expansion across the UK to add capacity to the network, which has seen the integration of the recently acquired Scottish Motor Auction Group (SMA) business.

New facilities also span 36 acres at Europe’s largest remarketing centre at Blackbushe, ten acres at Bedford and 6.5 acres at Manchester.

Later this year, the BCA network will be further expanded with the opening of the all-new Perry Barr, Birmingham remarketing centre located just off the M6.
