Volkswagen expands Transporter line-up with new Shuttle and Kombi models

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has expanded its best-selling Transporter range with the introduction of new Shuttle and Kombi variants priced from £42,220 on the road.

The Transporter Shuttle offers seating for eight as standard and the option to add a ninth seat and a TDI powertrain starting at £48,775. A battery electric version (BEV) is expected to follow.

The Transporter Kombi offers space for five occupants as standard - and the ability to add a sixth. The Kombi Commerce Plus TDI variant starts from £42,220, with an electric version due later this summer.

With greater payload and towing capacity, both the Shuttle and Kombi come equipped with a 2.0-litre TDI engine and the option of either short or long wheelbase configurations.

The latest version introduces a new exterior design and a modernised interior featuring a digital display paired with tactile physical controls.

Volkswagen is offering finance deals, including a £2,500 deposit contribution through Volkswagen Financial Services. The Kombi Commerce Plus 110PS 2.0-litre TDI is available from £389 per month, while the Shuttle Life 110PS 2.0-litre TDI can be financed from £449 per month on a personal contract plan.

Both models can now be ordered online or through Volkswagen’s network of 58 UK Van Centres.
