##Jazz2.jpg--right##Honda has unveiled a new compact five-door hatchback due to make its European debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

Named Jazz, the supermini will be offered with two new 1.2-litre and 1.4-litre petrol engines featuring i-DSI - Honda's dual and sequential ignition system comprising two spark plugs per cylinder in a compact combustion chamber.

The manufacturer claims high economy and low emissions for its Suzuka-built newcomer. British sales of the Toyota Yaris rival will start early in 2002.
