Peugeot has launched a Look special edition of its 206 supermini, featuring air-conditioning, sports seats, silver-grey instrumentation and aluminium gear lever.

Priced from £8,695 on-the-road, other standard features include white metallic paintwork, tinted glass, body-colour door mirrors and handles, driver and passenger airbags, immobiliser and remote central locking.

The 206 Look is offered in three-door and five-door variants and has a 1.1-litre petrol engine capable of 45.6mpg fuel economy on the combined cycle.

Meanwhile, other members of the 206 range have been upgraded. The 206 Style gains Cooldouce seat trim, the 206 LX now comes with Lysander velour, 206 XSi/D Turbo and GTi get a Chestnut and Astrakan leather trim option and the 206 LX and GLX HDi have uprated 185/65 R14T tyres.

Range prices start at £7,940 for a three-door Style model.
