Skoda's new Fabia Estate goes on sale on February 7, priced between £8,400 and £12,950 OTR.

Sharing all the features of the hatchback, the estate (pictured below) has 63% more carrying capacity than the hatchback, and more luggage space than any other small estate, according to Skoda.

Three petrol engines (1.4MPI 68bhp, 1.4 16v 100bhp and 1.4 16v 75bhp auto) and two 1.9 diesel engines, the 68bhp Sdi and 100bhp TDi, are available.

Like the hatchback there are three trim levels, Classic, Comfort and Elegance. Power steering, driver's airbag and engine immobiliser are standard. Comfort models gain air-con, electric front windows and onboard computer, while Elegance gains remote central locking and alarm, alloy wheels, roof rails and heated front seats.

The car comes with Skoda's three year, unlimited mileage warranty, three years anti-corrosion warranty, 12 months' road tax and first registration fee.
