Volvo has announced OTR prices starting from £20,750 for its new 'D5' diesel S60, V70 and S80 models ahead of the launch of the new lightweight aluminium, 2.4 litre, five-cylinder, turbo-diesel engine this summer.

The lightweight, common rail, aluminium engine is the first diesel engine to be designed and built by Volvo for its passenger car range.

The on-the-road prices are, for the S60 D5 S £20,750; V70 D5 S £23,960 and S80 D5 S £22,340. Prices of the vehicles in SE spec have yet to be decided.
