##Lexus--right##The fully stand-alone Lexus network was a little slower to get off the ground than anticipated but the outstanding sales success of IS200 has largely justified the investment. Volumes have doubled in 1999 and more growth is planned with the launch of new Lexus product, including a stylish off-roader. The older LS400 and GS300 models look a little dated now but remain a good source of used car business and hold their values well. The Lexus used car programme is one of the best in the industry. Almost all Lexus sites are owned by Toyota dealers but there are some stand-alone opportunities.
