Sales have dropped away despite a fresh product range, new all-turbo engine line-up and the launch of the 9-5 estate. But the Swedish GM subsidiary is fighting in an increasingly tough sector and needs to find its market niche. The dealers still rate the franchise highly, though future profitability rating has dropped back, and series of imaginative finance packages has helped in the small business user-chooser market.
