OneSwoop, the online car retailer, today announced a 12-month partnership deal with BTopenworld, BT's mass market internet business, to become the first new car retailer to feature on the automotive channel of the BTinternet (www.btinternet.com) and BTopenworld (www.btopenworld.com) portals.

The deal will give BTopenworld customers instant access to OneSwoop's catalogue of models through a 'virtual forecourt' on the website's automotive pages.

Customers will be able to search the range of models on offer, get updated news and view the latest special offers by selecting a link directly from the automotive channel on the BTinternet and BTopenworld broadband websites.

Customers will also be able to click on 'Imports' and 'New and Used' buttons on the automotive pages and submit an online search form to find a car and quote that meets their specifications from across the OneSwoop Now, Express and Custom services.

Tom Buehlmann, OneSwoop marketing director, said: "Opening a virtual showroom on a popular portal like BTinternet is the online equivalent of opening a car showroom on Oxford Street.

"The high number of subscribers surfing the portal's motoring content are like the customers browsing shop windows on the high street looking for the best quality at the most attractive price - exactly the type of consumers who will take advantage of savings of up to 20% offered by OneSwoop."

The partnership is one of a number of new deals made by OneSwoop in the last few weeks. The most recent was the link established with motor retail dotcom business, the Internet Car Company last week.

Other enhancements include offering personal loans from Marks and Spencer Financial Services, providing car insurance through Auto Direct and adding free one year AA breakdown cover on all cars sold.
