Nissan's UK dealerships will get a facelift as part of chief executive Carlos Ghosn's worldwide brand relaunch. The network is being merged with Renault to create larger 'hub and spoke' territories. A spokesman said: “There is no point in trying to change the brand perception without changing dealerships where it is sold.” Nissan Europe, north America and Japan will come together under one logo which will be seen first on the X-Trail sports utility vehicle, due to launch in the UK next month. The new image is being driven by Primera (the 5dr debuted at Frankfurt) which will be launched in March as an estate and saloon. The hatchback follows in July. Nissan hopes new Primera will banish its bland image and fleet user choosers are a key target market.
