Accent on improvements

Hyundai is to launch a new version of the Accent on 1 February – and claims the model will feature improved performance, a higher specification and improved styling. The main changes will be the availability of the 1.6 engine for the first time – previously used only in the coupe - and a new four door saloon bodystyle.

And the lower trim levels in the range have been removed so that all cars have a high level of standard equipment – including twin airbags, anti-lock brakes with EBD, power steering, side impact bars, CD player, electric front and rear windows, split/folding rear seats, ISOfix child seat anchorage, three-point seat belts and alloy wheels.

Prices start at £8695 for the 1.3 GSI five door and go up to £10,995 for the 1.6 CDX four and five door.
