The Bradford-based company surveyed its 450 brake specialists and 1000 independent garages and found that 90 per cent felt manufacturers could improve the level of training offered. “All manufacturers need to address the issue of training support,” says Rob Clulow, Federal-Mogul marketing manager. “While training support is costly, it is the type of activity that can engender long-term brand loyalty and greatly increase a manufacturer's credibility among the trade.”
