Vauxhall will be launching two new projects at the Sunday Times Motor Show this month.
First to be launched will be Vauxhall's new sports brand, VXR, inspired by the company's history of racing success in touring cars.
Two new VXR models, a VX220 and Monaro, are on view at the Vauxhall stand to mark the birth of VXR.
Secondly, the new Tigra, complete with retractable hard top, makes its UK debut. The new Tigra will be powered by the new 1.4 16v 90 bhp petrol engine with its Twinport technology, or the more powerful 1.8 125 bhp unit.
A comprehensive display of new Astras (pictured right)will also be on show, being the first time many of the public will have the opportunity to see the new Vauxhall.
A number of sporty diesel models will be displayed, headed up by the company's Eco Speedster, a concept car with VX220 bodywork and powered by the new 1.3 CDTi common rail diesel engine.
The new Vectra Essen hatch built by Vauxhall's sister company OPC (Opel Performance Centre) which produces 212 hp from its 1.9 CDTi twin turbo diesel engine will also be showcased this month.
In addition to the Eco Speedster, the Insignia will also be at the show, along with the VX Lightning (pictured right) which was built to celebrate Vauxhall's centenary in 2003.
