SsangYong network continues to grow

The company importing the Rexton, Tivoli and Korando SUVs, SsangYong Motor UK, has rebranded to KGM Motors UK in line with the Korean vehicle manufacturer's global relaunch as it seeks to move on from its troubled recent history.

SsangYong Motor Company has indicated that a name change to KG Mobility indicates a “paradigm shift” in the business which will bring a greater focus on electric vehicles (EV), autonomous cars and artificial intelligence (AI).

Humphries & Parks has become the latest former Mitsubishi Motors in the UK car retailer to join the Mitsubishi Motors UK franchised car retail network.

SsangYong Motors UK has added August Motors to its dealer network.

Former car retail sector colleagues and friends of SsangYong Motor UK executive chairman Jim Tyrrell are expected will be welcomed at his funeral later this month.
