The new Volkswagen Golf R32 goes on sale tomorrow.

The R32 is the most powerful production Golf ever and includes 18-inch alloy wheels, bi-xenon headlights, as well as 2Zone climatronic air conditioning, a 10-speaker audio system and rain sensor wipers with auto-dimming rear view mirror.

Powered by a 3.2-litre V6 248bhp petrol engine, the R32 features 4MOTION four-wheel drive as standard.

Prices start from £23,745 for the three-door version with a manual gearbox, rising to £25,575 for the five-door DSG model.

The launch coincides with the completion of the 24 millionth Golf rolling off the production line at the Wolfsburg factory in Germany.

The anniversary model was a Golf Comfortline 2.0-litre TDI 138bhp in tornado red.
