Ford has boosted its Streetka range with a ‘Winter’ variant to cope with the UK’s harshest winter in years (this was predicted by the weather people, who then predicted that it actually wouldn’t be that cold).

The Streetka Winter Edition is available from £13, 965 on-the-road.

Features include heated leather seats, air conditioning, ABS, driver and passenger airbags, 16-inch alloy wheels, engine immobilizer, perimeter alarm, remote central locking and a responsive 1.6-litre engine, "quickclear" heated windscreen, six-disc in-dash CD player, carpet mats and a colour-keyed hard top.

There are 750 Streetka Winter models in the UK, available in pitch black, red hot, street silver, French blue, storm and ice.
