The industry's top achievers were recognised last night in Birmingham at the annual AM Awards night. This year's event was the biggest yet.

Welcoming the guests to the ICC in Birmingham, AM editor Stephen Briers acknowledged the quality of the entries submitted.

He said: "The standard of entries was extremely high and resulted in many hours of deliberation for judges."

Briers also thanked Carter & Carter which conducted interviews and assessments of each of the awards entries.

The awards were presented by TV presenter Penny Smith. 'Big Impressionist' Alistair Macgowan provided the comedy before the casino opened.
