DaimlerChrysler presented the next generation of its fuel cell vehicles at the show.

The new F-Cell is built on the Mercedes- Benz B-Class, continuing with the sandwich floor concept developed for the A-Class.

The F-Cell’s high-torque electric motor will develop more than 100 kW - 35 kW more power than its predecessor, and thanks to a reduction in fuel consumption and enhanced hydrogen storage capacity, the operating range has now been increased to almost 250 miles. Component reliability and longevity have also been further improved, says Mercedes. (Mercedes-Benz: March 2).
