Mazda Motor Europe has announced today that Phillip Waring, currently managing director of Mazda Motors UK, is to be appointed vice president of sales on August 1.

Waring was appointed managing director in the UK in June 2003. Prior to working for Mazda, he held various management positions for Ford in the UK in sales and marketing, including sales director at First Ford and general field manager in Scotland and Northern Ireland.

  • Rob Lindley, currently sales director, will replace Waring as Mazda Motors UK managing director.
  • Jeremy Thompson, currently marketing director, will replace Lindley as sales director.
  • Mark Cameron, currently brand manager, will replace Thompson as marketing director.

    All appointments are effective from August 1.
