Glass’s Guide for PDA, the electronic version of the Glass’s Guide to Used Car Values developed for use on palmOne handheld computers, is now available with an integrated repair appraisal function.

Drawing information from a paint and parts’ database, the enhancement allows users to produce a detailed vehicle valuation reflecting the full cost of rectifying minor damage such as scratches, dents and cracked or broken lights or bumpers.

The product has been developed by EurotaxGlass’s, publishers of Glass’s Guide and the company behind the Glassmatix repair estimating system.

The appraisal data incorporates parts prices, labour and refinish times, paint material costs and smart repair costs. Monthly updates for vehicle values and parts and paint prices can be downloaded through a secure link to the EurotaxGlass’s website.

The Glass’s Guide for PDA product includes more than 46% more valuation data than can be found in a typical month’s issue of the paper version of Glass’s Guide.
