Honda has awarded Michael Fowler its UK ‘master technician’ accreditation.

Fowler, a technician at Springfield Honda’s Wessington Way dealership in Tyne and Wear, is the first to receive the award in the north east.

Fowler had to attend a two day assessment at the Honda UK institute in London. As part of the course technicians have to complete six, 45 minute tests which include diagnosing various faults, from the electrics through to the engine, with the candidate asked to specify how the problem could be resolved.
