CRM and loyalty programmes are transforming the way many businesses interact with their customers.

At autoretailing 06, Vauxhall chairman Jonathan Browning will deliver a keynote presentation on how they can help to unlock dealer profitability in the motor trade.

Brought to the industry by AM and the Retail Motor Industry Federation, autoretailing 06 is dedicated to helping professional, proactive motor retailers become more successful.

The convention opens on Day One with a conference for senior executives and features some outstanding speakers. Lyell Strambi, Virgin Atlantic’s chief operating officer, will share some of the secrets of its success in achieving customer loyalty levels of 98%.

Simon Gulliford, a former Honda dealer and group marketing director at Barclays plc, will show delegates how to engage with their customers.

In addition, the conference will include a highly motivational workshop session on turning prospects into buyers. Special guest speaker David Martin (see picture) will be offering UK dealers a fresh perspective on one of the major challenges facing the industry today.

Secretary of State for Transport Alistair Darling will also be speaking and taking questions at the conference. Among the other top speakers booked to appear are Sue Brownson OBE of Bluebell BMW/Mini, David Carter of Carter & Carter, Max Warburton of UBS and John Whiteman of the International Car Distribution Programme.

On Day Two of the Convention, delegates can attend up to five profit-boosting workshops throughout the day – in sales, aftersales and general management – all led by recognized experts in their field.

Two-day tickets to autoretailing 06 are transferable between colleagues in the same company. autoretailing 06 is sponsored by Experian and takes place at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham on June 7 and 8.
