Hella, automotive supplier based in Germany, has taken over the Danish company Tolerance for an undisclosed sum.

Tolerance develops and sells software for Internet-based technical services as well as for the diagnosis and repair of passenger car and commercial vehicles, for motor-vehicle garages in Europe.

"We see the acquisition of Tolerance as a strategic investment in the strengthening of our services for independent garages in the area of vehicle repair", said Martin Herbst, CEO aftermarket & special OE at Hella.
