The vehicle process and logistics company Paragon Automotive has purchased the share capital of QEK (UK) and its UK-based parent VAM (UK) for an undisclosed sum from its US parent, QEK Global solutions.

QEK offers vehicle management services to manufacturers and dealers, ranging from fleet management and planning to events and remarketing.

Paragon hopes that this acquisition will be a significant step in positioning the business as market leader in vehicle processing and logistics.

Jim Olexa, managing director of QEK (UK), will continue as MD of the QEK business, which will also continue to operate under the brand for the moment.

Paragon is based at Thurleigh Airfield in Bedfordshire and QEK will continue to operate from its current base at Upper Heyford in Oxfordshire.
