Volvo UK has opened an £8 million flagship site in Chiswick, West London.

HR Owen runs the 0.9acre site which has an eight-bay workshop, two-floor new car showroom with capacity for 14 models and outside parking for 50 used cars.

Volvo West London opened on September 1, the franchise has seen strong sales of Volvo XC90 SUV, V50 Sportswagon and C30 SportsCoupe

Volvo UK hopes to help locate and set up new partnerships to develop dealers in other major cities in the UK as part of its latest franchise review.

Kevin Meeks, Volvo network & business development director, said: “We believe the way forward for encouraging investment in our franchise is through a partnership approach with potential dealers.
