Chevrolet is giving away a bootful of Christmas decorations with every new Lacetti Station Wagon.

The deal includes a tree and is being offered by Chevrolet dealers until December 19.

The carmaker made the decision after its research revealed 27per cent of Brits were planning to spend less on making their home look festive in 2008 compared to previous years.

In fact eight per cent said they were not going to put up any decorations at all while 32 per cent said theye were going to buy a smaller tree.
