BCA’s Buy Now service no longer runs as an open market brand.

The service, which allowed dealers to buy quality stock via BCA’s online sales channel, has been replaced by own-label propositions.

BCA said these were aimed at getting better value for fleet customers and vehicle manufacturers through selling quality stock ahead of the auction procedure.

A spokesman said: “We are selling brand vehicles from the wider wholesale market into Audi, Jaguar, Land Rover and Mitsubishi franchised retailers, for example.”

The company has refuted rumours that BCA Walsall will be closing due to local authority planning.

“The area in which BCA Walsall is located has been identified for some time as being suitable for residential use by the local authority within their Unitary Plan. However, there has been no compulsory purchase order issued to BCA and we understand that there is no such intention.

“BCA Walsall is very much open for business and is a successful part of the BCA network.”
