Mazda is offering £1,500 free fuel on the CX-7 SUV and RX-8 coupé until the end of September. The deal is available only to retail customers, and includes a credit card with the fuel contribution loaded onto it. Both models are only available with petrol engines.

Zetec’s date
Ford’s new Fiesta range will again feature the sporty Zetec S trim when it goes on sale in October. The Zetec S will be available with a new top-of-the-range 118bhp 1.6-litre Duratec Ti-VCT.
Hybrid delay
Chrysler hopes to have electric-drive vehicles ready for production in three to five years. US dealers have questioned why Chrysler is not stepping up efforts to bring hybrid technology to market quicker. Dealers have reportedly been told hybrid powertrains won’t be available in Aspen and Dodge Durango SUVs until the autumn. The Dodge Ram will be ready the following autumn.
