Chevrolet has introduced a special edition trim for its Captiva SUV model.

Based on the LS, the Ikon gets 20-inch alloy wheels, side steps, privacy glass and a chrome exhaust tailpipe which Chevrolet says is worth £3,000.

The Ikon is on offer at less than the equivalent LS models in the Captiva range – the 2.4 model is almost £1,000 cheaper than the petrol LS at £15,995, while the 2.0-litre diesel is £16,995 –£1,400 less than the equivalent VCDi LS.
