Nissan has extended its British Built Trade-in Scheme, which guarantees a £2,000 minimum trade-in against any new British built Nissan for trade-in vehicles over seven years old – previously the offer only applied to models aged 8-10 years old.

New Nissans eligible for the offer, which will run until 30 June, include the Micra, Note, Qashqai or Qashqai+2, all of which are produced at Nissan’s Sunderland Plant.

“There’s no doubt the Government’s Scrappage Scheme along with our own trade-in Scheme has given the UK automotive industry a boost,” said managing director of Nissan GB, Paul Willcox.

“As Britain’s biggest car builder, we hope that by extending our scheme we can sustain the positive results seen to date and continue to support the British economy.
