Honda UK has launched a used car stock locator which customers can use to access all of the Japanese brand’s used stock across its network in the UK.

The new system has been developed by Manheim Retail Services in line with Honda UK’s online marketing strategy.

Customers searching for a car will be able to share vehicle information through Facebook and it will also be possible to search non-approved and non-franchised national used car stock.

Manheim Retail Services' stock management solution eBusines Centre is underpinning the system which links with Honda UK’s in-house systems.

A mobile optimised version of the used car stock locator has also been launched. Manheim Retail Services is planning to update the Honda used car search options with lifestyle choices so consumers can find the car they’re looking for based on criteria important to their daily lives.

Lorraine Wilson, franchised standards and used car programme manager dealer development for Honda UK, said: "The consumer car buying process has changed, with more research being carried out online ahead of the decision making process.

"Manheim Retail Services really understands the rapidly changing market and its digital solutions and industry leading services allow us to keep our dealer network and customers at the forefront of the online search experience."
